What beers do you have on tap??
Nice place to have a drink and gather with friends. Good atmosphere. Food is nicely priced meals are a bit on the small side but they were good. Very noisy inside when it's full of people.
MoreSuch a great vibe!! Open-mic/Karaoke night was so much FUN too !
Love this place! Both the Bath and Brunswick location have a wide variety of comfort foods, sandwiches and burgers. Everything I've ever eaten was fabulous. My last encounter the waitress was a bit scatterbrained but it doesn't change Byrne's being a favorite!
MoreGreat beer selection and a very good BLT!
Stopped in for drinks tonight. Amanda was our server and she was amazing. Never been disappointed when we come here. The staff is always super friendly. If you are in Bath it is worth stopping here.
MoreGood bar food, nothing special, but better than most, for sure. Nice local beer selection. Decent service. I had a good veggie chili. Husband had a really really good BLT. I would recommend that. I would also recommend the pickle fries. Half sour pickles cut like French fries in a crispy, slightly spicy crust with a yummy dipping sauce. Best fried pickles I have ever had. Not that I've had a lot, but I would definitely recommend them. Pretty addictive. We were there in the afternoon on a Saturday. It was very quiet. For some reason, it felt more grim than pleasantly private. (I'm not a fan of crowds or loud restaurants.) Maybe it was because there's not a lot of light and we were not sitting near the big window that looks out onto the street. I'm going to guess that St Patrick's day is a total blow out there, though.
MoreI always enjoy coming here. The food is great and the staff friendly. Always fun and they have a baked mac and cheese with my name on it.
MoreVery pleasantly surprised when I went to this little gem
I really like the atmosphere here, people are really friendly, the beer is good and things are reasonably priced. I tried their burgers a couple of times and was not disappointed, but I have to say I am not a fan of some parts of the menu.It is a basic place with a nice feel to it and I prefer to eat elsewhere and come here to enjoy their music nights and meet new people. I keep coming back here so maybe more deserving of four stars but the food although not bad must leaves me wanting better.
MoreBest hometown Irish pub ever! Killer Reuben sandwich and Eggs hollandaise over homemade hash. Live music too.
MoreFriendly, local pub with delicious food and beer!
Service was very good and food was awesome.Would definitely recommend!
Great service and great beers. Good Irish feel. Maggie was wonderful.
A great liitle pub, we go every time in Bath.
Fun place, some servers are better than others, and a bartender needs to put forth a better effort.
MoreGood food and nice atmosphere. They have live music, karaoke, open mic, and trivia nights. The place seems busiest on trivia nights but the staff still keeps on top of things.
MoreWe stopped at Byrnes on our anniversary. Loved the neighborly atmosphere and the food. Wish they were closer.
MoreNice bar right off the street in Bath. Great food, service and cold beer.
Byrne’s is yet another in a long line of completely Americanized Irish pubs. It’s not a bad place for an odd happy hour every now and then, or maybe a trivia night here and there, but it doesn’t have any unique charm or appeal of its own. What’s more is that the beer selection is very thin on local options, but heavy on macro brews and decorated almost exclusively with the chintzy, logo-splashed, promotional materials that would otherwise line the trunks of distributor reps everywhere. It’s just that kind of place. So, temper your expectations, then pay a visit on a Trivia Night with a few pals and shovel down some Irish nachos, with a cold pitcher of MGD or few Schlitz tall boys or maybe even a bucket of Coors Light bottles and you’ll have a blast.
MoreThis is a very authentic Irish pub. It serves a large variety of beers other than Guinness. It is a must go to place in Bath
MoreIf you have a chance to visit this place, you better take it! The pickle fries are insanely delicious! Warning: ADDICTIVE! We crave them ALL OF THE TIME! The Patty's Poutine is phenomenal! Don't forget to top it with the porter cheese!Needless to say, we pretty much order from here once a week, & quite honestly, sometimes several times a week, lol.
MoreNever tried the food there but the service was terrible. We had a party of seven. We asked one question, and the waitress there was so rude to us. She acted like she didn’t want us there. We never talked to her before, and we where being polite I’m pretty sure. We just went up and left. We were all hungry and tired for dinner while on vacation so the last thing we needed was something upsetting. Conversation: “Hey can we combine these two tables so we can make them into a table for seven?” Waitress: *Rudely* “*Growls* Yeah. Whatever.” Not sure what set her off or what gave her a bad day, but there was no excuse for that behavior. You don’t need to take out your frustrations on random strangers who just wanted to get something to eat. Hopefully the next time anyone else goes there, there will be more acceptable service.
MoreAll get the grilled Reuben oh my gosh it's delicious
Cutest little pub around! Great atmosphere with live music. We had the fried pickles and I’m craving more!
MoreI had a steak bomb and it was, well bomb! Excellent mashed potatoes and gravy. Highly recommend
MoreGreat burger, plus other good comfort food with an Irish twist. Lots of events and camaraderie. Usually loud. Friendly but sometimes flawed service. Fun casual place.
MoreThis place had a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff was prompt. Great food selection and the food was actually good.
MoreFun Friday karaoke nights!
Walked in at 8:40 pm. Bar is open until 11:00 and a sign on the front door clearly states the kitchen is open until 9:00 pm. I politely ask the man seemingly in charge if the kitchen is still open. He says, “No”. I reference the sign on the front door, that I’ve been traveling all day and i’ll order something easy and fast for the kitchen. His reply? “You’re not from around here so we won’t serve you.” I’m Latino. In town on business. A bar patron told me “to go back where I came from.” That’s how they treat people in this town? Incredible racism.
MoreI had the blue cheese french onion soup in a crock. Fantastic! Two warm and soft chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Also super yummy! Great Irish ambiance!
MorePerfectly average. Some nights with karaoke or a local musician, but nothing fancy. Alcohol stand up to code, vegetarian chili is a strong choice for food.
MoreOmg. So yummy. Very authentic, great food and atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. Live Irish band playing too! Pastrami is amazing!
MoreNice atmosphere, friendly and courteous waitress combined with very tasty food and great Irish beer make Byrnes a must! I've passed by it a few times and finally decided to lunch there with a few friends. Felt right at home. This is definitely my kind of place.
MoreIt was ok, server was great (double checked about my food allergy). The place seems to have a strong following with the locals. Food was meh, so not a destination place, but good for a bite
MoreGood times. Good food and drinks. Owner is a retired Navy Master Chief Petty Officer. You will like Byrnes'.
MoreGood times. Karaoke night with Stormin Norman was alot of fun.
Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon 5-7 Irish music. Good food & beer. Friendly, welcoming regulars. First rate!
MoreDelicious Irish fare in a traditional pub atmosphere
Great bar. So popular there isn't always a seat at the bar. Get over it. Order a sausage.
MoreWorst service and cold food ever. Gave it a shot for dinner one night and what a mistake. Took 15 minutes for someone to show up after sitting so we quickly ordered drinks and dinner. 20 minutes later my cup of soup came at room temperature and we still didn’t have drinks. All the food was cold and we never got to order another drink. Watched as people sat at 3 different tables and left after 15 minutes because no one showed up. The smart ones. This would be the Pub in Bath, Maine
MoreGreat atmosphere.. cold draughts... Yes they know how to pour a Guinness correctly
MoreLive band is usually available. If you're looking for a Patty's Day spot for breakfast, you've found the right place. Guinness bread is made in house and it's delicious. Corn Beef is fresh and always beautifully prepared.
MoreSuper fun and gets super packed!!!! Love Friday night Karaoke!!!!
Great pub atmosphere. Reuban was excellent. Highly recommend you give it a try.
Friendly staff, yummy food and beer.
Excellent food, excellent service, great prices! This will now be my go-to restaurant when I go out to eat.
MoreI stopped in for breakfast after spotting the pub across the street. The corned beef hash and eggs was delicious. Prompt, friendly service and great atmosphere. Loved it!
MoreAverage food. Had meatloaf and bangers and mash. Nothing special. As Irish pubs go, a little below average.
MoreVisiting from out of town. Half of our party arrived about five minutes before the other half. Only interaction with staff after we arrived was our asking the staff about seating options (is it ok if our party takes up these two tables together?) and the waitress's rude non-response which was a growl, shake of the head, shrug of the shoulders, and kept walking. Unfortunate because we had been trying to eat at this establishment but they've been busy during our trip and this was the first night we could get in. Thankfully Bath has no shortage of wonderful eateries--I'll never know if this is one of them.
